'Bodies' is a series that combines nature and the human form to create pop-up sculptures in a variety of environments. The work has a mature and neutral colour palette, however still holds on to a childlike playfulness through the subjects’ peculiar poses. The project explores how small we are as humans, in comparison to the rest of the planet; the models enhance their natural surroundings by imitating the shapes and contours of the land. Like an artist’s blank canvas, the natural space is used as a starting point and basis for this project, with the models adding texture, becoming a part of the earth.
